What's the difference between the Standard and HD Bucket on the 16A/17A Loaders. How do you tell - are the through-holes for the accessory bolt on edges a give-away?

The heavy bucket has a round reinforcment across the top of the bucket to keep if stiff. My friend has the light duty and is all bent up. well worth the couple of extra dollars. ....

If the bucket has holes drilled in it for a replacable edge this also tells you that its heavy duty ....

If you want to beef up either bucket, bolt on an 8 inch cutting edge, (mine's cut down from a skid steer). This adds significant rigidity to my HD bucket, and saves wear and tear. 200+ hours of serious dirt/rock/boulder work and the bucket's in great shape. ....
